I have begun the process of getting my band I am 22 5'6 & 261 lbs my goal weight is 160 so I've got about 100 to lose. I had my first consult last week and I have set up all my appointments for all the test I have to do. my psych eval is today and tomorrow is my upper gi, chest X-ray blood work & ultrasound . I am so excited to begin this journey and I am inspired by so many of your here!

It was fine not long or drawn out at all

excellent news. this pre-op down, on to the next.

Welcome and be patient with all these Doc appts. and tests. I know it will feel like you will never get to the surgery!! Read as much as you can you will feel so much more comfortable by the time you have your surgery.
