Almost Two Weeks From Banded

Nd I ate some soft oatmeal cookies. I chewed the hell out of them, and they tasted delicious!!!! But two was plenty for me! That has never happened, eating only two small cookies. So happy!! Sad news, though, I can no longer wear my wedding ring as it now slips of my finger to the point I'm afraid I'm going to lose it.

ring story is great, you'll have to get it resized when you are at goal weight!

be careful with cookies, carbs make us want more carbs!!

Be careful with eating solid foods this soon after banding...most surgeons don't allow a normal diet until a month after surgery to allow the stomach to heal. Please be sure to follow your doctor's orders.

I go on solids on Friday. I can eat oatmeal right now, so I don't see how 2 oatmeal cookies are much different especially when I chew them to purée standards. :P

I'm doing well with carb intake. :) weighed today and I'm down 25lbs since surgery on the 2nd!

Wow. 25 pounds down since banded on the 2nd. That is GREAT. I was banded on the 3rd and only 14 pounds down.

I've got a LOT to lose (545lbs banded weight) so I'll lose more, faster, but will plateau soon.

Wishing you the best!
