Of course it's nerve wreaking - this is a big decision....I just got banded last Friday and I can just tell you from my experience- its over before you know it....and the weight loss begins! I'm down five pounds and I am looking forward to continuing that trend -as my husband says: It has to work....not possible for it not too....

So keep your chin up! I'm sure you will love it....:)

I had those thoughts the day before surgery...it was becoming more and more real. I got the surgery on Tuesday and everything went well. I'm still not hungry and I had to force myself to watch some broth and a popsicle. I do feel better this morning...but not 100%

I am scheduled for may 2 nd and am beginning to panick!! I mean I am so excited but scared to death!

I'm about a year out from my surgery, and I felt the same way when I started out. Luckily, my process went very quickly so I didn't have a lot of time to freak out. LOL I've never had any regrets and this has been a life changer for me. Just follow your doctor's orders and get a good support system going. You'll do great and it'll be over in no time. :)
