Help!!!! Weight Gain :(

I'm 2 weeks out and I lost in the beginning but I am gaining now. I hid my scale because I was obsessing but this morning I got it back out and I have gained 2lbs. I don't have a fill until April 17th but I have been following the dr's orders very closely. I've never been able to lose weight and I'm freaking out this is not going to work :(

My first two weeks, I lost and then gained half of it back when I started mushies/softs.. I talked to my Dr and he gave me a fill early. (Early as in my 2 wk appt)

I am right where you are...no worries. I was banded on March 6th and don't get my first fill until April 16th. I have gained weight back but was told to just stay off the scales, do what I can to get to the 16th and not worry about it. Our bands aren't working right now and aren't supposed to. Once we start getting fills the show will start. Until then, just relax and know that good things are coming! Your body is getting all healed from the surgery which is a good thing. Our journey really hasn't started yet. It will!!!

Don't freak out! You're still healing from surgery and you have no restriction yet. My fiance was just banded and had the same problem, but he's about six weeks out and steadily losing again. Have faith...if the band can work for a lifelong yo-yo dieter like me, it will work for you!
