Incisions Are Still Red!!

I am 3 weeks post op and my scars are healing well they are still very red though. I read to not put Neosporin on them. Anyone know why? What have you put on your if anything to help them heal, not itch, etc. Anyone?? :)

    I had same problem and doc said leave them uncovered and exposed to air.
