Pain 1 Week Post Op

my surgery was a week ago today. I am still not 100 percent better. hernia repair site is still very sore. how many of you are in the same boat as me?

I guess the old sayin is true. Everyone is different and they,recover differently too. I to experience the only being able to sleep in one position and if I stand or walk too much it begins to hurt worse

Well we are gonna get thru this and be so happy! I think about how I felt two to three days out and it makes this seem like a cake walk!

Yeah not having a BM is not good at all for over 2 days. I am a nurse and we always recommend miralax twice a day for two days if still no BM u need to call ur surgeron.

2 Dulcolax did the trick :) Yay!

Well going to see my drs assistant. He usually sees dr lords patients for their 1 week follow up appt. I know ive lost some weight (about 20 r so pounds) Hope to be able to move up to full liquids today ;)
