Hey guys....help? My surgery is scheduled for next Thursday and today I have a little bit of a stuffy nose. I am scared to death that I'll get a cold or something in the next week and they will cancel my surgery because of it. Does anyone have a FAST cure for a cold/stuffy nose/sinuses?

It might be nerves/stress. Or even hayfever. If you really think you are coming down with something there is not much you can do although zinc, Vit C and echinacea may help a little.

Calm down. Drink your fluids and focus on the prize. Could be allergies because everyday I have a stuffy nose.

my surgery date is 2 days away and im acually calm about it. like someone said "the prize is just around the corner"!

my doc put me on a preventative antiboic just in case and boy i had the strangest dream on that crap! thank goodness i took the last one yesterday!!

My surgery is a week from today and I have been waking up with a stuffy nose as well, I think mine is allergies (its that time of year) i'm going to be safe and drink some emergen-c (vitamin c supplement) and take some allergy medicine and hopefully that will clear it right up!!

They wont cancel your surgery. Its just a cold....
