Any Suggestions For Liquid Diet???

I got banded 3 days ago on the 21st. Two days before the surgery I was put on a liquid diet. It was horrible. I thought that once I got banded the hunger would go away if I just sipped some Water. The first 2 days I was in so much pain, it was kind of easy to ignore the hunger. But now I feel tired and have no energy and I AM STARVING. :((((

ANY TIPS???

PS: Can you eat a spoonful of creamy Peanut Butter to help with the hunger after 3 days of surgery? Please help!

NO! You need to stay on liquids as long as your surgeon says. But, that doesn't mean only water. Drink some tea, clear juice, sugar free popsicles, Crystal light lemonaide is good, drink bullion, (I liked the beef). You can do it, just set your mind to it. Try some Special K protien water, too! Good luck, Karen

I was banded yesterday, and not feeling hunger yet.. I'm on Clear Liquids for week 1, then full liquids starting week 2... My surgeon and nutritionist said to avoid PB until at least after 4 week healing period, and also it's on a list of potential problem foods... You need to follow the diet your surgeon recommended.

On that note, I just bought Isopure zero carb Protein Water , which is allowed on clear liquid. That should help curb hunger.

I had my lapband 2 years ago and have lost 150 pounds. I had my surgury at Surbuban medical center in Louisville Ky. Follow your rules and weight will just melt off. This past year my weight has been at a stand still. I have recently found this new shake that is sweeping the nation and is absolutely deilicious. Tons of recipes and support. I am now back to losing weight, I have been on the product for only 4 days and lost 5 pounds. They have vitamins etc. Check out my website http;//sherrybellinghasm.myv.net I have tried several different shakes and this one I have found the tastiest. It has a sweet cream taste, people describe it as a cake mix taste. I live in Louisville you can contact me on my website, if you have any questions about lapband, I have had several tightenings and at this time at my so called sweetspot. You have a fantastic year ahead of you, if I can help with any support feel free to contact me. Good Luck!i
