Burping!..chest Pain!..stuck?

Im 6 weeks post op with having one fill and still having NO restriction.. The only real issue im having is belching (buurping) all the time. I can just be talking to someone and have to buurp uncontrolably and anytime I sit up or stand up I buurp uncontrollably it seam like its much worse on some days more than others. Is there something stuck? Cause there is a pain right in the center of my chest right below rib cage..Is this normal?

I am also six weeks post op tomorrow. I also burp alot. I don't think I have something stuck because there is no pain. I assume I am drinking or eating too fast. I will be curious what people offer you.

Yes. The burps sneak up on me too. My co-workers I think have just gotten used to it. I also have the gurgles too. Usually late at night.

I agree. I don't think that you have something stuck. You will know when something is stuck. Some food just makes me burp more than others (watermelon for instance).

You may have reflux. Or if you are drinking anything from a straw will give you the burps. As for the chest pain try taking some prilosec or something like it and see if that helps, otherwise you may want to visit your Dr. and discuss it with him/her. And if something gets stuck, you deff know it cause you begin spitting foamy spit til you either get it up or it goes down.
