I just posted my success story from 2011 and absolutely no issues ever since. I’m hoping a Dr. will see this or my story and also agree “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!” My only issues are wishing I could also eat more fruits ex: watermelon, grapes and cantaloupe. Other than that I do have a few spasms from time to time. I’m still happy with my weight that began at 192 and have been 125 (give or take) for many years. 🙌🏻

Hello, I’m 55 yo and had my lapband surgery February 2011. I haven’t had a single issue in over 14 years and I’m still keeping all my weight off. My question is; Is there anyone else out there who has had the success as Iv had and what what are your future plans.? I feel as long as I’m good then the band is good. Any and all recommendations are welcomed:)

I was banded on 12-29-11 and I was in for my 3rd fill last week and my port seams to be moving around. Is this a normal thing?.. Just curious And I have also notices last night that its a lil sore at times.. This normal?

I was also banded 12-29-11 and I'm only down 11 pounds. I'm very frustrated but I'm not having to lose much. My thing is just making the right food choices.

Im the same way but its Temptation... I dont suffer from it tho. I will have someone else buy it and i just take one lil bitty bite and savor it as long as I can and then my craving is cured. And doing this I have never gained a single pound from this, Only cured a temtation!.. Its will power and Just cause your banded doesnt mean you have to suffer from all goodies.... BUT if your one that cant resist just taking the one lil bitty bite then DONT DO It!!!... Hoppy Easter

Mee Too... I live in Burleson , Just south of Fort Worth;) I was banded 12-29-11. Im doing ok!. I had less to lose so its coming off really slow. Started at 180 now im 165. And i can still eat pretty mcu anything besides flower tortillias and carbanated drinks. I still get to enjoy my vodka with water and a lime and i now add a sweet n low to it Im here to help ya out if I can.

I was in for my seconf fill yesteday and i start mushy foods today..I was at 4.5 cc leaving yesteday but could barly get down my cup of water. Dr. Snow took ou .5 cc and water flows better so needless to say im scared to start my mushys later on. Way to got on the wt. loss!!

Im 6 weeks post op with having one fill and still having NO restriction.. The only real issue im having is belching (buurping) all the time. I can just be talking to someone and have to buurp uncontrolably and anytime I sit up or stand up I buurp uncontrollably it seam like its much worse on some days more than others. Is there something stuck? Cause there is a pain right in the center of my chest right below rib cage..Is this normal?

Im four weeks post op yesterday and had my first fill yesterday aswell. I have been having this upper pain in the center of my chest and at time the pressure is like a sever gas pain/bubble...It comes and go but I dont like it at all!!! Is this going to be an on going thing and i just better get used to it? Is there something i can take to help with it like maalox gas ex? Any all all helpfull suggestions are greatly appreciated. Hellllp;)

Oh man.. there was no way I could have gone back to work!! I was down for 5 days straight I went back after 9 days and was still moveing very slow. Everyone is diff.

Your band has slipped?? If your small pouch has stretched out?? And if you have had the I-band (Plication) and your stomach might have issues from the sewing of the stomach, maybe streched out from over eating at the beginning of your healing process and learning how to eat. Thanks..
