  2. Hi there, We have several things in common. The burping for me is as my husband refers to it "That sound" ....trust me it is one end or the other all the time. Now it is just plain funny.....I am 7 weeks post surgery and have lost 32. I weighed 235 when I started and am hoping to be out of the 200's by next week. I have had 2 fills on my band and don't think either was the right amount. I am still hungry and can eat almost anything. I don't do it but I could. I go back in a couple of weeks and plan on telling the Dr. I would like to not be hungry. They said it is a trial and error thing. I hope so. I too have the pain in my incision. It is very tender and plan on finding out about that as well. Hang in there. I have found that I may not lose anything for several days and then will start dropping several real close together. GOOD LUCK

Well I got my first fill yesterday. I was happy to be down 24 lbs in 4 weeks. I worried all morning that the fill would hurt and that was a waste of time. I barely felt anything. I have been on liquids since yesterday and now I am nervous to eat anything. Anyone have any suggestions on what they ate after their first fill....?????

Thanks Cyndie, I really hope this gets better. It is driving me crazy.
  6. I got mine on January 20th. It took me about 5 days for the really bad soreness and just a work in progress since. Hang in there...
  7. Hey friends, I must say today is the first Good day I have had in two weeks. It's not at all about the band. I got sick on Tuesday with a horrible case of strep throat. Today is my second day out of bed without a fever of 102 or more. I may be starting to see a glimmer of a light at the end of the tunnel. Yippppeeeeeeeeeeee. Sad to say that I could not eat hardly anything due to my throat hurting so bad but GLAD to say I am down 23 lbs in 15 days,. My nausea has improved alot. My biggest problem is GAS and I mean GAS.....If I am not hiccuping, burping, or you know my husband starts looking for me for fear I have died. lol I am not sure why I have so much gas but am trying and different types of excercise to eliminate it. Hope everyone has a great Super Bowl Sunday and I am so happy to have a smile on my face and feel good. Becky

I got banded on 1/20/2012. Mr. Dr. did NOT put me on any restrictions before the surgery. I went to see him on January 13 and since I was a cash pay he scheduled me for the next Friday. I really should have done my due diligence and did NOT. It's amazing what I did not know until I started reading. I am happy that I have lost 17 lbs in 10 days but I am having some bad nausea problems. Anyone else having nausea??? Help I am really uninformed.
  11. Please forvive me as I try to figure out how this works. I got baded on the 20th. Was your recovery easy? The first 4 days of mine I had a lot of pain. Now I am rocking and rolling. I have lost 17 in 10 days. Not an easy loss but I will take it. I hope to figure this out soon. I am having problems with nausea. Anyone else?
