Headache After Workout

Hey all, I don't know if anyone else experiences this but most days after I work out I get a headache. It's really only at the front of my head and it's not unbearable, just weird. My trainer says it might be that I'm dehydrated but I drink water throughout. Anyone else have this issue?

Hello, i saw my nutritionist on Thursday and she said a headache is the first sign of dehydration. Drink up before you workout then replenish with Gatoraide (or the equivalent). If you still get headaches after a couple days of doing this, then see your doctor- PCP.

I would have also said dehydration. Don't wait until you are thirsty to drink - drink before , during and after your workout. Plain water is best.

Water is definitely best !

It could also be a high Blood Pressure after working out or high pulse rate, try drinking if that doesnt work its time to see the doctor :)

Definitely drink more water. I used to get a lot of headaches pre-band but now I drink at least 2 litres a day, more if I am exercising, and I only get headaches now if I am really stressed at work.

eat more and drink more. i think u had that post about almost passing out at the gym. i used to have that happen all the time when was on phentermine. i ate like 800 calories a day and would then do turbo jam and just had absolutely no energy but would push myself and bam. if ur working out u need to eat more. i like intense workouts so i dont even have my band tight. its probably too loose but i need to take in more calories to compensate for what im burning
