Protein Drinks Causing Stomachache...ugh!!!!:(

IVE BEEN DRINKING PROTEIN DRINKS SINCE LAST TUESDAY IM DOWN 11POUNDS N THEY ARE WORKING WITH ME NOT BEING HUNGRY BUT THEY R HURTING MY STOMACH N HAVE ME RUNNING :(!!!!.......I EXPECTED TO BE BANDED ON THE 13 SO IVE ONLY BEEN DOING 1 DRINK N MEAL DO YALL THINK IMMA GAIN WEIGHT BACK? ??....I SURE HOPE NOT

I'm guessing you will gain temporarily from the surgery, but as long as you exercise will power/restraint until the band is tightened, I would assume you lose more weight.

You wil probably be running to the restroom from liquids in, liquids out! The 1st few days on liquids will clean you out!! After you come off, you might slow down, but other than that you should loose weight, okay. Karen

Try a different brand of protein powder. Wal Mart has a soy powder (EAS is the brand, I think) which worked for me. I also really loved this chocolate fudge flavored already made "nutrition drink" from Target, which has more calories, but tastes really good...good for a treat.
