I'm from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Thankfully I was able to move fast! My husband and I went in all prepared to finance the whole surgery because we didn't think insurance covered it. We tried in 2008 and were denied. We were told that not only did they cover it, but the only prerequisite was a physical!!! Super blessed. So now we're both on schedule for Feb 1st!

Hi all! I got my surgery date today!!! I will be banded on the 20th, the day after my birthday! All day I have had mixed emotions... excited, scared, you name it! I look forward to hearing about everyone journey! I don't have to do a pre op diet and from the sounds of the posts on here I think I am thankful for that... but on the other hand, it would have beend good to build the discipline needed for after surgery.
