  • Did you get light headed? I sometimes have a drop in blood pressure if I've been standing for a long period of time. Could have been a blood sugar drop, as well. Finally, maybe you were just hungry. R

Yes it sounds like a drop in blood sugar from hunger. This was probably a better indication ( although maybe you left it a bit too long) that you were hungry than a growling stomach. Stomachs growl all the time, quite often for reasons other than hunger.

I was reading that this can happen when you don't chew enough or eat too fast, I think is goin to be something I'm not going to be looking forward too001_huh.gif

When my Diabetes was out of control, that was the true sign of Hyoglycemia - dangerously low blood sugar. Take something to raise it. Let it continue and you could drop into a Diabetic Coma.

If you are not having anything until 2pm, you are not doing your body any good. Try to have something in the am. And tummy growls are normal, so don't take that as a sign that you are hungry!!! I get them a lot, and know that I am not hungry, as I just had soemthing. Good luck, might be blood pressure too low, or low blood sugar. Karen
