14 Months Out And 71/2 Weeks Pregnant!

After 17 years of tears and heartbreak, I am finally pregnant!!!!! I stopped taking BC at 13 months because it doesnt agree with me. Well... was pregnant weeks later! This is our first child and beyond excited!! Saw the Dr a week ago and measured 6 weeks. I am going back at 8 weeks to confirm gestational age and for a regular 8 week appt.

I currently have 10.5 cc's in at 14cc band. I am concerned I may have issues but the Dr said I should be just fine. We will keep a close eye on the development to be sure I am eating enough and the baby is growing. She said most women do fantastic with the band and is pleased I didnt run out and get unfilled. So far MS is so mild that I do not vomit. She said there really are only positives with pregnancy and the band. I have had no problems in the last 14 months so Im hoping it stays that way.

As for the baby... very very EXCITED!!!

That's wonderful! Wishing your family the best!

Congrats! The good news with having a band is if they need to they can unfill it and let you enjoy the pregnancy then once the baby is here you can have it filled again.

Congrats! love to hear your doc is supportive, you will do well.
