Finally...the Scale Is Moving Again!

I hit a plateau that lasted about 6 weeks, so I knew something had to give. I was so frustrated I went as far as to have my thyroid checked (everything is fine). Last week I joined a gym and signed up with a trainer, and increased my protein and water intake. I stepped on the scale this morning and bam! Down 3 pounds! I also have a lot more energy, which is a great bonus. Take that, plateau!

good for you girl!!! keep up the great attitiude, it's how you win!

it sure scares me when a plateau stops all weight loss.

A happy story....I am delighted to here that....I stopped losing weight and actually put it on as I was over restricted .....so just got aspirated today so hoping I will start losing again...great reading your post :)

It sounds like im reading my own story! I was plateaud for just about as long! Joined the gym the day after Christmas, got a trainer, cut my carb intake and as of this am im down 6 pounds! I have 2 pounds left til i hit 75 pounds!

Congrats on BLASTING through your plateau!

I had my band & plication ion November. Lost 19 lbs pretty fast, but have been stuck at the same weight now for 3 weeks. I did join a gym 2 weeks ago and began Zumba. I am so fustrated that my scale isn't moving. Any one else been there?

Fluffy & fustrated.

EVERYONE has experienced this. There are as many opinions here as there are........

Well, lets just say everyone's got one and there really is not any good rhyme or reason, it just is.

I've been at a plateau for 2-1/2 months now. Yesterday, Sunday, it was very cold and I was completely happy watching Football all day on TV.

Unfortunately, I also grazed all day with some popcorn, some chips and salsa, cheese, etc.and a Beer!

I thought I probably blew it big time, and I will have to pay extra attention next day or 2, maybe go all liquids.

This morning I went to the gym. After workout, I weighed myself there and I dropped 4 lbs! Go Figure!

All one can do is continue doing what you're supposed to do, and be assured it will pass, sooner or later!
