Intro

Hi my name is Victoria and I just recieved my lapband on the 5th. I am very excited. I am down 6-8 pounds already. I haven't been the best at following the all liquid diet, but I am extremely careful when I do eat something not yet approved. My only problem is the severe pain in my left shoulder. It feels like a pinched nerve which I do have in that shoulder. Hopefully it will get better soon. The Tylenol with codiene I was prescribed doesn't touch the pain but its all worth it. I cab't wait for when I am below 200 lbs.

The time post surgery where u have to drink liquids is to help heal and let the band settle in, eating so soon after surgery isnt such a great idea. Gas pain in the shoulder can be very painful, just make sure you are drinking the amount you should and to try walking to help shift it. Eating before you should will also cause more gas to accumulate so please do try and follow the guidelines you were given you will benefit in the long term smile.png
