Hello U... Intro.

Hi I am introducing myself I've been banded since Oct. 2011 and I have lost 19.6 pounds not a HUGE loss but I'll take it. Its better than what I was able to do on my own anyhow.

I was thin as a child and started picking up weight in highschool. I really got heavy with my two pregnancy's and a few minor surgerys. However I weigh more now (even after losing some) than I did when I was 9 months pregnant with either of my boys.

My dh loves me no matter what he's awesome but I need to do this for me. that is why I picked my tag name Tym4me (time for me). I have to do this for me so that I can continue to be their for them. My guys.

My father died last Dec. 2010 at over 400 pounds and a smoker and all the complications that go with that. My sister instantly went in and had the Bypass done and is doing great. but that was scary to me and a little to invasive. So I went with the LapBand and so far I am very pleased. I am still learning how to use my new tool. I have the standard AP allergan with a max capacity of 10cc. I currently have 3cc in my band and i am scheduled to go in this fri. to see if I need another fill.

I love the support and info. I see on this forum and I am looking to chime in. biggrin.png

thanks
