Surgery Was Today

Today I had my lapband surgery!!! I feel good, a little tender. While in surgery, my surgeon found that I had a hiatal hernia so that was repaird as well. My experience has been good. Right after surgery I was extremely nauseous and was given something at least 4 to 5 times to help. I was also allowed to continue to sleep to help me with it. My surgery was at 8:00 AM and I was out of the hospital by 3:45. I am so fortunate to be able to begin my "new life" today. I began in the beginning of July when my sister and I went to a seminar. She is still going through the process. At times it seemed like the day would never come, now that it has come I can't believe it and wish everyone good luck.

Good luck to you. Please keep up posted. I'm still completing apps per insurance requirements but maybe in a couple of months.

Congrats and good luck to you. Glad you are feeling so well on your surgery day. I didn't feel like any contact for days!!!

Congratulations..........Good for you.

I had my surgery yesterday and I haven't had any nausea, I guess I'm lucky. I did guzzle some Water too fast last night......the pain right below my breast bone will teach you not to do that.

Good luck to us.
