Just Got My Lapband

Hi my name is Rachelle, and I just had my surgery last Tuesday. Im still alittle sore, and the gas pains are not going away fast enough. I sometimes wonder..Why did I do this? But then I remind myself that the pain will go away soon, and I start my new life.

Congrats on the surgery. I didn't suffer from gas pains so I guess I am one of the lucky ones. It is worth every bit of the pain trust me. I just had my 3rd fill and am now finally in my green zone. Be patient because it takes some time for some us to get there. Even though I just hit my green zone I have still lost 38 lbs since my surg. on 9-1-11. Good luck.

Thank you for your words, they help. Im just got on here because Im affraid I may still be eating to much. Like I will get a little something, or drink, and then have hunger pains about any hour later. Is this normal?

I had my surgery on Monday14th, I'm still a lil sore to at the port site... But feeling good other then that I go back to work on Tuesday next week.

I got my band on Thursday, and yup a little bit sore too. The gas, well thank god

it's coming out!

For gas take chew able gas X - Congratulation and good luck to you all, make sure you are drinking a lot, I ate a lot of Egg Drop Soup that second week was warm and filling with lots of Protein. Remember don't rush these first few weeks they are prime time for weight loss and you will eat REAL food AGAIN! just give yourself some time.

Take Care
