Stomach Virus and LapBand

Has anyone out there dealt with a stomach virus with their lapband?

I am the last in my family to get it, and it seems to be worse for me than it was for everyone else. I don't know if it just coincidince, or maybe because of the band.

I can't vomit, but having extreme bouts of nausea. I have survived on power ade the last two days, and hoping to be somewhat back to normal tomorrow so I can get back to work. My biggest issue is trying to get enough Water in, between not having desire to take anything in, and getting nauseous when I do.

And yes, I know for sure it is due to this virus due to all the body aches/pains, headache, diarrhea.

I just need some advice if anyone has it.

if powerade or gatorade are going down, that should help you from dehydrating. i am drinking more gatorade then water since having my band placed last week anyhow. seems easier for me right now. hope youre feeling well soon.

Oh yeah! I had it and I would vomit but nothing would come up and I just ate sugar free bomb pops all day long. It was bad but only lasted a day.
