Advice for a newbie

Hello, I was banded on october 7th and was wondering why is it very normal to only be able to hold about 2 to 4 ozs of mushy food at this point? Sometimes its only a few tiny bites that i feel like im full but also feel like im full of air. Excessive belching. Taking Gas-X every day. How about any of you guys? Any advice?

oh my god we got banded the same day!!!!!! how has your progress been? ive lost 20 pounds so far, mushy stage seems to keep me going 1or 2 lbs up and down the scale. i feel like i can eat anything if i wanted to. trying to maintain till i get my first fill which is nov 8. I wanna keep lossing weight and right now i feel im hungry hungry hungry. i read in other post that this hunger seems to be normal . what are you eating right now? well get back to me when u have a chance!!!

You are lucky because I was banded on 10/4 and I can eat more than 4 oz of food I can't wait to get my fill which I don't know when that will be but hopefully soon...

enjoy this time and the weight loss that comes with it. You're probably still swollen...don't worry, the swelling will go down and you will likely have your hunger return.

be well!
