Post-op (2 days) questions

How long does it take to have a bowel movement? I'm so used to being regular -- I can't stand this!

Anyone take juice Plus chewables?

What about diluted prune juice?

And just how much does this darned band weigh? I gained a pound in the hospital (I'm just kidding w/ this question -- I know it's a hydration/body Fluid issue).

It took me about 4 days and wasn't much too talk about! I suppose mostly because of the change in diet and calorie restriction. I would recommend anything that can give you Fiber (prune juice, chewable fiber tablets, etc). I haven't been "myself" since I've been banded. I constantly have to work on my Protein and FIBER.

Shawn

Yep, I am with Shawn, same amount of time. It did take me awhile to get things lined up in that direction. I now know more than I ever wanted to know about fiber and am fanatical about making sure I get my 25 to 30 grams aday. Fiber Choice chewables are my friend. I didn't try prune juice, but I can't see where it would hurt in moderation.
