How much water are you drinking? You may be dehydrated? Also turning on the sink faucet while attempting to go often helps with the sound of running water. If the problem continues don't hesitate to call your Doc. Again, drink, drink, drink!

you should be back to normal tomorrow anesthetia slows things down

I had the exact problem. I was banded on 6.22.11 and the day after it was 8pm and I had not tinkled all day. I called my surgeon and he suggested that I pour rubbing alcohol in the toliet. Apparently, the vapors from the alcohol pulls the urine out. At the time, I felt it was a bit odd, but I was desperate....I did it and it worked like a champ!!!!

Wishing you the best of luck!!!

I had the same problem but I noticed it for weeks. I must have had a sleepy bladder. All good now.
