Need recommendations for tracking nutrition and exercise

I was using the Realize site for tracking my food and exercise since my surgery because the doctor and nutritionist said I could give them permission and they could have access to it directly on the computer if I ever needed to consult them. Their site is very limited and inadequate. So I wanted to ask for recommendations for tracking all nutrition and exercise. This is what I am looking for...

  • Must be online
  • Must track both food, full nutrition and exercise on one site
  • Must allow for printing out so I can bring them to Dr. (my Dr. wont do a fill unless you bring printouts of the last 2 weeks of food and exercise)
  • I'd like to be able to add comments and notes for each day if possible.

Thanks in advance...I know you guys will have some great info!

I use fatsecret.com and it does all of these things :) Makes nice little printable reports, too. I've printed them and brought them to my nutritionist.

I use myfitnesspal.com - they also have apps for the IPhone and blackberry and it already has almost anything you could imagine eating v

I also use my fitnesspal.com I have used it for the android phone and iPhone! I loved it for the android you could scan items in, the iPhone you can't! It's a great app!!! It has a super forum also, lots of great people over there that are post op WLS!

Good Luck!

FitBit. $99 for the device, tracks your activity and sleep, allows you to track your food online, and is completely private unlike myfitnesspal, which has legal authority to use anything you post (photos, words, etc) anyway they want. I use Fit Bit in conjunction with The Daily Plate.

I use my fitness pal as well and the best thing about this app is that its free! I use it on my phone and the laptop.

I really like fatsecret.com.

Myfitnesspal.com is a great site. Loaded with so many foods even fast foods, a diet and exercise counter and plenty of friendly people waiting to offer their experience and hope. check it out.

If you want all that..... Go to myfitnesspal.com and it's free. It will do all of what you are asking, plus keep it all in Memory.

Foods are also kept in memory so search and check and enter. That easy. I am Losingintime on that site. Say hello sometime.

I use mylapbandjourney at lapband.com. It's the Allergan site.

I use my plate on livestrong.com you can track water, fitness, nutrition, calories, and get good articles. Of course I am biased seeing livestrong is headquartered inAustin, TX and Igrew up here. I really Ike the site and one of my goals is to complete the shortest leg of the live strong challenge, 40 mile bike ride.
