My first NSV

I had my first real NSV (Non Scale Victory) yesterday. I checked my blood sugar yesterday afternoon and I was at 91! I don't think I have ever been below 100 since I was diagnosed over 5 years ago. That felt really nice. My blood sugars have never been better and I hope to start weening myself off some of the diabetes meds soon. Cannot wait!!

Thanks for all the love at the support. Being on the forums here has helped me very much in every aspect of this journey! :)

that's so cool to hear. I'm actually going for ALL NSVs. scales are unreliable at best...and unlike many others, I don't rely on numbers to see my progress.

For me, my NSVs will be decrease in pants size and ease of mobility. Since I can't get on a weight scale, I'll have to keep track of progress pictures.

Congrats!!

Way to go brother! Keep up the good work!
