I too suffer from Hypothyroid and Graves disease. I had iodine radiation at the age of 16. I was hyperthyroid, heart palpations, rapid weightloss, bad mood swings, couldn't concentrate in school, developing a goiter and having thyroid storm episodes... my parents decoded we'd do the iodine treatment. Fast forward to present time, married with 4 children. I've had successful weightloss journeys in the past, 75lbs-80lbs with my first 3 children... however after my 4th in 2014, my body hasn't bounced back like before. My doctor believes my time has come, and my thyroid is dead. Now I am solely depended on synthroid... morbidly obese and seeking the gastric sleeve.

I too had hyperthyroid (which made me gain over 60lbs) , graves disease and unfortunately thyroid cancer twice last time being 2012. I'm was sleeved almost 2 months ago and am scared my thyroid issues will slow down my weight loss
