  1. Thanks Babbs.
  2. I'm in my transitional stage and it recently changed on tuesday. I have been trying to track my protein and food intake. My BMI was 39. I am so thankful for your words of wisdom and feel better. Thank you.
  3. So I was sleeved on the 17th of Nov. I lost weight the first two weeks but this week I've actually gained back 2 pounds. Now it may not seem alot but it has me super worried. Any one have any advice?
  4. @@butterfly23 I never thought it might be acid. I think my problem might be that I'm not on a schedule. If I have my protein shake at lunch I usually drink on that for the rest of the day to be sure I get my protein, but perhaps I shouldnt. My stomach, may, always be full. Something I plan to talk to my doctor today about.
  5. Thank you very reassuring. It's very hard to describe but it seems as though you guys have experienced it yourselves. Thanks for the insight.
  6. I feel good as far as pain. I do however have no idea what these weird feelings mean in my stomach. I drink water I get a strange feeling. Drink soup weird feeling. I can't even explain it. I'm allowed yogurt and pudding. I get the same weird feelings. Am I still hungry? I don't know. I have yet to go to the bathroom since morning of my surgery and that has me worried. Perhaps the multi vitamin is not correct any advice on the multi everyone else is taking. Do you eventually begin to understand the gurgling and rumbling feelings in your stomach? I have not thrown up. Perhaps not getting the correct amount of water? I can not wait for my doc appointment on wed but wanted to know your thoughts. You are all great.
  7. @@butterfly23, I'm feeling good but I'm struggling with knowing what these different feelings are in my stomach. Am I hungry, full, am I getting enough water. I'm sure I'll figure it out. Can not wait for real food. Soup is getting old. Haha. Thanks for asking.

  10. My surgery is on Tuesday and I worry that even though I've been sticking to the two shakes a day, 4-6oz protein and cup veggie diet I worry its not going to be enough as I'm not seeing any difference on the scale.

  14. I had received my phone call telling me I had been approved, on the 29th of October, however today I get a call telling me that yes they received the verbal approval but my letter has not been received. I too have not received this letter. I have sat on hold for over 45 minutes while they pass me around from person to person. Ahhhh... my surgery date is on the 17th. I don't not want to yet again postpone it due to insurance... so many emotions right now.... could use some prayers everything works out and surgery continues as planned.
  15. @, thanks for the words of encouragement I'm looking forward to looking back at this state of mind and laughing at how nervous I am being.
  16. @dreamable, it's great to hear you're doing well, and I know it'll be the best decision ever, and i am sure the nerves are just something that will go away once I am back in my room after surgery.
  17. @@butterfly23 that is great advice thank you. I will start taste testing the different flavors now, anything to help the healing process. And I'll have to warn my family alot of 'blaming the dog' is going to be happening. Lol

  22. Like you I am more nervous about the after effects. Not so much the surgery. I've been through a few major surgeries so I'm less nervous about that portion. Good luck with yours it's coming up.
