Thinking of getting a personal trainer...advice...

Okay for me losing weight is now getting harder. I think it's because I'm so close to goal. Due to various reasons I don't exercise like I should and I think it's time to push myself on that.

I called a local gym here and I can get a membership for $40 a month and a personal trainer is $30 an hour. If I can only do 2 hours a week that would be a great start right?

Have any of you used a trainer? How long did you need the trainer before you started to workout solo?

At $30 an hour I'd be paying $240 for the first month just for a trainer but I feel like at this point it's an investment in myself.

Any advice for me?

Pick up a book called The New Rules of Lifting for Women. Do some cardio, save yourself some money. ;)

Increased excersise is a great way to get those last pounds off. I have a personal trainer and love it. She really keeps me on track. Since I go the gym to meet with her, it's like ok, I might as well do cardio while I'm here. She also makes sure I am doing the proper form and using the right amount of weight. I think you are right, it's an investment in yourself. Do it!
