5 Weeks Post-Op

I had my surgery on March 31, 2011 and have lost 21 lbs. I am a little discouraged because after I have healed for the most part I have not lost any more weight since going on soft foods. I have not had a fill yet I get that at my 6 weeks check up. Is any one else going thru the same thing or are my expectations set to high!

You are not going to lose weight by fills. It is normal not to have weight loss when you move up to soft foods because your calorie intake is more than when you were on clear liquids. The first six weeks should be for healing not worried about losing. Stay off the scale.
