Melancholy Rollercoaster

I am a week out from my first fill. I know it takes time to feel restriction, but does the hunger eventually subside?? I am using all my willpower to stick to things but its hard to battle the constant feeling like this is no different from before. I just need a little pep talk from all of you veteran bandsters. I hate this constant fear of what if the band doesnt change anything for me? I am working out eating better using that willpower ... so I AM doing my part... I am just waiting for the band to keep up its end of the bargain. I guess I just want to know that it DOES get better with more fills.

So far I am down 24 lbs from my highest, which is awesome.... but I am starving... I need some relief soon.

Hang in there! Restriction will come. It took me 3 fills to feel any restriction. Keep up the good work sticking to your eating plan. Continue to follow your dr. instructions. Congrats on the weight loss so far!

I agree with vlp1968 it took me about 3 fills to get to restriction. On a good day I can go 4-5 hours without eating in between. Just hang in there and it will come.
