Excercises to flatten the belly

I go to the gym every morning for an hour. Doing mostly cardio and use an ab cruncher machine. My jeans are falling off. Unfortunately my stomach is definitely not deflating. Does anyone have any suggestions for excercises that will flatten my belly? Thanks

None; you cannot spot reduce fat. You can build up the ab muscles, but you're only building abs covered by fat. Weight loss is pretty much the answer. Good luck!

reverie is right, you cannot spot reduce fat. however, you can strengthen your core muscles which will help burn some of the fat. my faves for this are pilates (amazing for strengthening your core and building lean muscle) and the plank (ask a trainer at your gym to show you). both are tough, but very rewardiing.

Belly jiggle is attributed to your diet. Less sugars and low carb will help "deflate your belly" until then you're keeping your strong abs warm :-P If you never work the other parts of your core you could cause injury because the other muscles are weaker than your "abs". Your core muscles act as a "girdle" around your middle, so there are muscles in the front, sides and back so you need to do exercises that engage all muscles.

Cardio is your best weapon for a flat belly - you simply have to burn the fat. supplement with strength training of course and work to strengthen your core for best possible shape but unless you lose the fat, none of that will show.
