I had ladpband surgery three weeks ago, all fine except I am swelling around the surgery site and that has now become the size of a tennis ball. Is this normal?

If there is swelling around your incision it's probably due to an infection. Very important to get your surgeon to check it out right away.

I would go to the doc, it could be an infection, or possibly a seroma.

Call your doctor right away.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I am seeing my surgeon this afternoon and hopefully will get this swelling fixed asap. Thank you so much for you help and good advice.

[can the swelling be because u ate something not easily digestible.

even I am having swelling after almost 3 weeks. I had 2 threptin biscuits today. I think thats the problem.

please advise.
