Yesterday was the first day of my new life. I was in a lot of pain yesterday, today seems to be much better. I had a hernia repair also. I am very excited to be starting this new chapter in my life. To everyone else who had surgery yesterday as well. Congrats and I hope all is well.

I had my surgery on 4/5 also. It was pretty fast; I received the call Friday afternoon that my insurance approved me, and before I knew it I was waking up from surgery. I'm still very sore. Are you having any trouble getting up and down? That's the worst for me.

Congrats! I am sore also. But mostly where they repaired the hernia I had. Getting up and down is not bothering me as much as the gas pains. I am finding that if I get up and walk around I feel much better. We should feel better soon.

My surgery was the 5th also. Yesterday wasn't that bad but today I am really sore! Congratulation on your new life! Isn't it exciting?

Mine was also on the 5th. I've still got a lot of soreness, but seems to be getting better every few hours. Getting in and out of bed is the worst! I think I'm ready for the soft food stage this morning, I'm going to try some yogurt.
