banded yesterday

Hi everyone I got banded yesterday and I had some nausea so they gave a lot of different medicine that I think made me feel worst but today I just feel some pain on my incistions and a lot of pain on top of my body like chest and all around..Is that normal?

Yes it is.....I was banded on 4/1/2011 and I am still experiencing some tightness in my chest and stomach area. I was told it would go away....can't wait.

I got banded yesterday too, feeling everything you described. Don't forget to take your pain meds. I was trying to "hang tuff" but they gave it to us for a reason. good luck!

It is completely normal. The pain in chest and upper body is probably gas pain. Try some GasX or Mylanta. That really helped me out. It seemed to linger for 1 week or so. Congratulations w/ your band!
