advise?

I have had the lap band for almost three months now. I have recently been sick with gastro (or something similar as this has lasted for three days now?!?!) and I have not been able to throw up normally (alot of dry retching). Does anyone know if it is harder to throw up (from sickness not over eating with the band) after food goes through the band?? can it come back up through it? Also, I dont appear to be getting over the sickness....im still trying to throw up three days later (and still nothings happened). has anyone else had a similar experiences? help!!

Call your doctor

Throwing up with the band is the last thing you want. You need to contact your surgeon ASAP to have medications prescribed to you. Vomitting and maybe even dry heaving can cause your band to slip. Stick to warm liquids/soft foods for now.
