Puking :)

Hey, I had my band fitted on the 5th November 2010. Since then iv lost 2 stone, which is great as I was not hugely overweight to start with. After my first fill I was still able to eat a fair amount of food if I chewed it properly so I had another fill almost 2 weeks ago. I am struggling! I am throwing up after ever meal and can feel even smooth yogurt gurgling to come back up. Will this settle down? I know tat after my first fill I struggled to keep anything down and that eased- but it was not to this extent.

sounds like you are just a little too full (the band) you should probably have a little taken out.

I was okay through about my 4th fill, around the holdiays the stress started to get the best of me. I had Fluid removed and it helped a little but the more I stress the tighter I feel. Also, the constant vomitting caused a lot of inflamation. I too got sick on yogurt once! I think the best is to have it loosened until you get back to feeling better.

You need to speak to your surgeon's office and let them know exactly what is happening.

B)

how much should you have taken out when this kind of thing is going on??? I'm afraid to take any out since I have finally got it to where I can;t eat whatever I want but now I can;t eat anything and everything is coming back up. The worst part of it is, I got it filled almost a month ago now and I dont think I have lost any weight! Has anyone else had something similar? If so, what did you do??? Why is this thing not working???
