Watch Out! Here I Come...

I was hesitant to call my insurance because I didn't want to seem over anxious...but I have called everyday. I was trying to fight myself not to call today, but my nerves got the best of me. They said I was just APPROVED this morning. I am so happy. No, ECSTATIC! Well, let me go and call my docs office to schedule pre-op and surgery. Who dat girl gone have that surgery? Who dat? Who dat? Who dat girl that's gon lose those lbs? Who dat? Who dat?

I can't even think about ...and I am a teacher. Let me get focused! Bring it in, bring it in. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO!!! I love your post! It is clear that you are truly happy and I am happy for you! Welcome to the world of lapband. Keep reading this forum (particularly the post surgery threads) to get the "real deal" on the what/how/whens of lap band surgery. Don't let the negative stuff get to you, just take what you can use and leave the rest. There is a well spring of information here.

All the best to you on your journey! WOOOOOO WHOOOO! YAY jblady!!!

Congrats! You sound exactly the way I did! I think I actually became obsessed with checking on line with the insurance company and then calling over and over since the "Unapproved" me 3 times. Just paperwork technicalities though. Like said earlier, REALLY take time to learn the post-op. I was so swept up in pre-op questions and insurance, I didn't. LET ME TELL YA!!! I was just banded Friday the 21st, I wish I had. It's different than what I expected. Good Luck on your Journey! Keep us all posted!

You go girl! I said I would give them a couple of days since they said they hadn't received anything from the surgeons office :-/...

Congratulations!!! I'm so excited for you. I know waiting for the insurance approval is the worst!

Now for the easy part! The surgery. I can see you now...dancing down the hallway into the operating room!

He gonna have to knock you out to get you quiet! LOL

You'll breeze right through it with the great attitude that you have!

Keep your eye on the prize, girl! Good luck to you!!

Chris
