My last meal

So, I had planned on my "last" meal before I started liquids 2 weeks before my surgery to be lamb korma from my favorite Indian food restaurant. I ate a big lunch and now I'm too full to even think about it. My husband thinks I should just go tomorrow and start after that, but I am going to do the right thing and just say no! It is so hard but I will feel terrible starting off my journey like that. I am probably not going to be able to have it until April, but I WILL be in control. I am in control, damn it!

I had two last meals. Veggie burgers and veggie tacos.

If it's something you're craving get the craving out of the way so you're not tempted to try to eat it sooner than you should once banded.

For the past 2 weeks vie been eating at all my favorite spots. The crazy thing is I haven't enjoyed them I guess it's a sign that I'm ready!! I start my pre op liquid diet on the 24th my family & I are going to a nice "last dinner" together

Good luck with your surgeries!

I ate chicken, lol, though that's all I eat now. I never suffered from the last meal syndrome as I know there isn't food i CAN'T each, just food I choose not to eat.

Thanks for the input everyone! I woke up this morning still wishing I went and I happened to see some pictures of myself that were taken yesterday and now the craving is dissipating.

Well you will enjoy rhat much more when you can have it again. And look at it this way, you will have lots of leftovers to enjoy it for a few meals ;)

Good luck
