Just banded

Banded on 12/28/10 and I feel very uncomfortable. I feel almost like there is a brick on my chest. I am definitely not meeting my protein goals. Maybe 15 grams a day if That. Nor am I drinking enough fluids. :( is this normal? I'm just not thirsty or hungry at all.

Please drink as much as you can. even if you do not want to. it is soothing to the stomach and helps your body heal. incorporate your protein also in any means possible. Body can not heal without the protein either. you will become stronger and healthier quicker if you can get that in as soon as possible. Good luck and i hope you have a speedy recovery.:D

Do what you can to get your Water in at least. I was banded on Monday the 27th and on New Year's Eve I was in the ER for dehydration...I couldn't stop retching, dizzy and felt like I was going to just pass out. The dehydration snuck up on me because I felt great up until that day, although I knew I wasn't drinking enough. Now I am afraid I caused my band to slip or something else to happen.

You do not want that to happen - force those liquids! Good luck!

Drink it whether you want to or not. Its that simple you have to get the liquids in and protein. If you dont you are starting out on a hell journey.
