I had the surgery done in July of this year and just recently the scar where my port is has started itching like crazy. I try to keep lotion on it, as I think it is just because the weather is so cold and dry right now, but it still itches. Anyone else have issues like this?

I can't offer too much except to ask if you are drinking plenty of water? The lotion will help the outside but you need plenty of fluids to keep the inside hydrated.

I was also banded in July of this year and mine just stopped itching for the first time in november. I tried every healing or medicated lotion i could find and actually i think it was the Olay in the purple bottle that was the last I tried and it stopped itching. It was a long 4 months.lol
