After Initial Consoltation

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forums. I have a quick question.

I just completed the seminar and was wondering how long does it take from this point? I realize it's different for everyone, just trying to get a general idea.

I have United Healthcare Insurance and have already spoken with them. I was told they cover 100% of the surgery which is a God send for me.

So, just personally speaking, how long did it take from the first visit to surgery?

Thanks in Advance!

It took about 6 months for me due to insurance requirements - I have Aetna - had to do sleep study, psych eval, 3 nutritionist visits, 3 doctor visits. Started all of this in January 2010 had surgery June 10, 2010.

I did the orientation meeting in the first week of August. My surgery date is December 9.

It took me less than two months from seminar to surgery. My insurance covered it all as well. I had surgery may 25, 2010 and so glad I did it. Down 79 pounds and only 14 more to doctor goal. Good luck on your wonderful journey.
