Lizrdel, how's it going? You're almost three weeks out! How were the mushies? Are you eating solid foods now? Updates, we need updates... ;-)

please tell me why you decided to go with the lap band? Did you ever consider the DS procedure? How was Mexico and did you find a doctor to do your fills? Marlene

Welcome Lizrdel! Congratulations on your surgery. This is just the beginning of your journey, and I'm sure you'll find tons of support here.

Hello--

This is my first post, although I have been reading your posts for the past 3 months or so. I was just banded on 12/28/05. The only day I wasn't hungry was the day I had surgery. My doc put me on full liquids right from the start, but they do not fill me up for very long- 2 hours max. I feel like I am actually consuming MORE calories because I am putting something in my mouth like every 2 hours-- although I did lose 4lbs since yesterday- so something is working.

Hi. Welcome to LBT.

I am leaving on Thursday for surgery in Mexico by Dr. Rumbaut. Glad you are doing well!

Donna

miboyer, I saw that you were worried about putting something in your stomach every couple of hours....well, as long as it is low cal or no cal I would think that you SHOULD lose some weight. 4 lbs in one day....you go!

Welcome to LBT and your new life! Be sure to post question or worries here...you'll get an answer! Let us know if we can help you...hang in there! Cindy
