I have had my first "fill" in my band today. I have a size 9 band, and it has been filled to 4.

Is this usual for a first fill, and will I feel the restsiction when I am off the fluids, and back on solids?

How will I feel? Will I really feel full after a few mouthfulls?

Your first fill seems very normal. It is probably larger than others will be, the port and it's cord need to be filled with saline. I didn't have restriction after the first fill, took me 3. You will be one of the lucky few if you get restriction on the first fill. Just know it will happen. Good luck on your jouney.

I received 4 CC's first fill; second fill was 2 more. I did not have restriction after the first fill. I went back for the second fill at 3 weeks which is the earliest my doctor's office allows. At lunch today was my first day of solids since second fill and it seems like I have more restriction than I did but will see how dinner goes.
