Mind itch so bad. Was banded on Friday the 10th of Sept. They are healing nicely but itch so bad.

Mine it's so terribly bad. It drove me nuts all day and all night. I contacted my doctor and they said it could be the tape they used, so I pulled the remaining steristrips off after about 10 days. Also, I got Benadryl spray that really helped with the itching. Good luck!

I agree with the benadryl- works wonders on itching.

I had a piece of suture still sticking straight out at one end of my incision. It took a couple of days to work up the nerve to snip it off with a small cuticle scissor.

But I digress...my incisions were itchy as h*ll, so I've been rubbing Vitamin E on them, morning and night. It's helped a lot. Hope that helps.

My incisions are super itchy too, today is my one week post op day. I put new dressings on because i thought it was the tape, it's not. So i better leave them covered so i don't accidentally scratch them. i will try the Benadryl though, thanks

OMG! I remeber the bandages they places on my incisions itched so bad! In fact I have a little scar that outlines where the incision was because I itched it so much. A week after surgery, I learned hydrocortisone cream was my new best friend.
