Plenty normal. Your port incision will hurt for a few more weeks. Try to not bend as much and use a hot compress on it when you need some relief.

I'm almost 4 weeks post op and my port area is the only place that is still sore... my NP said it would be for a few weeks longer than the other incisions... and it's right where I feel it when I bend over too... fun!!! :-)

don't know if it is "normal", but I had the same experience. It was more like a pinching sensation, but it hurt. Actually, for me it lasted for about4 weeks.

and..... I wrote my response before seeing the others, so glad to know others had the same experience. Just got on this website yesterday and it is really helpful

im 2.5 weeks post op and the port is the only place in my body that hurts, especially when i bend and sleep on my side.

You may want to consider the grabber things that people use after hip replacements (they have limited range post surgery for picking things up off the floor. You can buy them at many large pharmacies for about 10 bucks.
