August 5, 201015 yr Hey everyone! My surgery date is the 17th. I'm starting to get opinions from people that I may get infections and how people do get infections. This is whats on my mind now lol. If something like that happens who pays for that?
August 5, 201015 yr You shouldn't concern yourself with infection. Infections don't happen often but they do happen. About a century ago they discovered penicillin and other anti-biotics that makes infections go away when they do happen.
August 5, 201015 yr My surgury is now officially one week away; and if I get a morning spot it'll will be done by now! Re infections, sure they could happen but will they? If someone is going out of their way to stess you out tell them to mind their own business. When my admin assistant was having her wisdom teeth out I did'nt say a word, even though I personally had a horrible time with it. It was'nt until she said she'd planned to be in the next day (they were impacted); that I told her that mine had been as well and I needed 3-4 days to recover. I told her from my own experiences I was not planning she would be at work. I did not want her to rush comming back when she was not ready. She was out for 5 business days which she had not planned on at all.
August 5, 201015 yr I dont know if this is normal or not but my doctor did 2 IV anti-biotics yesterday while in the hospital. I also have a history of MRSA infections so I talked to her about this and she sent me home with a script for antibiotics as well.
