I get Banded tomorrow!!!

I'm 20% nervous/scared and 80% EXCITED!!! I can't wait to have it done and I can't wait to be back home and have it over with.

I can't believe I'm getting banded and I can't believe my insurance is paying for it!

I'm so excited and happy to see this day come:)

I am getting banded on Aug 17 and I am going through some crazy emotions right now too. I can't even explain it. I am really happy for you and the new beginning and opportunities that we will have. I am nervous and scared too about a large spectrum of things. I don't even know where to begin or how to articulate it. The waiting over the next two weeks is going to drive me crazy. I really have anxiety and I can't even put my finger on it. Then I also have tremendous excitement and feel so blessed. I didn't think my insurance would cover it either. I will be thinking of you and hope you have the energy and time to post something when you get home so I can hear how you are doing. I will say a prayer for you tonight wish you the best.

Amanda, Good luck tommorow! In Tyler or Lufkin?

Good luck everyone. Don't get too excited. You'll be disappointed if you are expecting bells and whistles.

You go to the hospital; you go to sleep; you wake up; you go home. Really quite event less and boring.

We'll see you in Bandland.

Amanda, Good luck tommorow! In Tyler or Lufkin?

I went to Lufkin b/c of my kids. It makes it hard for me to find a sitter for all three of them for out of town appointments. When I went for my pre op on Tuesday the staff and the doctor were so nice and excited for me. I feel much better now using that practice.

I'm scheduled for 7 am. I'll let you all know how it goes. I'm hoping smooth with no complications. I'm the first one for the day so unless an emergency comes up I shouldn't have to wait long. I'm happy with that!

I'm glad your comfortable with them, I was going to stop by and see you if you were in Tyler but since I have to work tomorrow I cant make it to Lufkin but I will be thinking of you.:)

Good luck! Don't be afraid to ask questions at the hospital and take it easy when you get home. I am 8 days out and I still have some pain....but I have already lost weight and generally feel good.
