Those that do liquid pre-op diet...Question

I start my pre-op diet on Thursday. My allowable food is 3 shakes a day 1 control bar, unlimited liquids, sugar free jello, fat-free broth. My PA told me that I could have veggies, but I'm concerned what kind I can have. I'm assuming I can have raw or cooked(steamed) but nothing on it. Would you assume that as well? I want to follow the diet to a tee so I have no issues when I go in for surgery.

Every Surgeon has different requirements.

Best to call your doctors office and check

I would bet no starchy veggies are allowed

I drank 3-4 Slimfasts a day, and was allowed a lean meat and green veggies as a dinner. Best to check with you Dr. since every Dr has different pre op instructions.
